I am originally from Columbus, GA where I still live today. After graduating from Columbus High School in 1995, I attended Columbus State University where I earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Early Childhood Education with a Reading Endorsement. The following year I attended Troy University where I earned a Specialist's Degree in Elementary Education. This is my eighth year teaching and my first year at River Road Elementary. Formerly, I taught at Fox Elementary in Columbus and then Park Elementary in Hamilton.

My husband, Jeremy, and I have been married for eleven years. We have two wonderful and active children. Cole (9yrs.) and Emma Grace (4yrs.) attend Calvary Christian School. We have a yellow lab named Scout. He is a big part of our family. We love to hang out in the back yard grilling out, playing ball, and relaxing. We also enjoy visiting the park, camping, and watching Alabama football! Roll Tide, Roll!
